Gladys W. McKesson, 100, of Jetersville, VA, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, George A. McKesson and a grandson, Butch McKesson and was the daughter of the late Annie P. and Howard Williams. She is survived by her daughters, Sara Parrish and Nancy Jones; sons, David A., Earl C., G. Kirk, Milton P. and James Wayne McKesson; sister, Jane Jones; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 4 great-great-children. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm Friday at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rte. 10). A graveside service will be held 11 am Saturday in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Amelia Volunteer Rescue Squad, Amelia Court House, VA 23002 or Bethlehem Baptist Church, Building Fund, 9600 Midlothian Turnpike, N. Chesterfield, VA 23235.
