Michele Ann Albaugh
---Michele Ann Albaugh, age 45, of Chicago, Ill., formerly of Marshall, died Friday, September 4, 1998 at her residence.
---She was born on April 12, 1953 in Albion to Kenneth and Patricia (Greenman) Albaugh. She grew up in Marshall, was a 1971 graduate of Marshall High School, worked for Win Schuler's Restaurant in Marshall and attended Ferris State University. For the past 20 years she had resided in Chicago where she had been an office manager for The Arts Club of Chicago, and was a manager for dining services at the University of Illinois, at Chicago. Michele recently graduated from The Culinary Institute of America at Hyde Park, New York and was currently a pastry chef for the Marriott in Chicago.
---She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marshall and has enjoyed collecting antiques, cooking, traveling to Scotland and boating.
---Surviving her are her mother, Patricia of Marshall; brothers, James Albaugh of Punta Gorda, Fla. and Richard Albaugh of Battle Creek; a sister, Susan Albaugh of Marshall; and Michele's special friends, Charles Ross of Chicago. She was preceded in death by her father in 1995.
---Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Craig K. Kempf Funeral Home in Marshall where the family will be present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and where a Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. A Funeral Mass will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. A Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. James Barrett officiating. Interment will follow at St. mary's[sic] Cemetery. Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to the Arthritis Foundation, Calhoun County Humane Society or the Special Olympics. Assistance with memorials is available at the funeral home.
