Caroline was the daughter of Samuel Deweese & his first wife, Sarah Boyer, who died 6 Aug 1824 in Lattisburg, Wayne, OH [burial unknown]. Caroline was born in 1820 before her mother died and before Samuel married 1928 to 2nd wife Anna Schwitzer.

death entered in this cemetery only because part of the family is buried here....Caroline died in the County Home. Based on supposition of the 1880 and 1870 census, she was from Fork, Mecosta Co., MI, wife of James M. Adair. In 1900, she is widow in the same place.
