Lacy Wilford Brewer, 81, of 8344 N.C. 705, died Friday, Feb. 6, 1998, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Brown's Chapel Christian Church with the Rev. Tom Williams officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military honors and Masonic rites.
He was a native of Moore County, a member of Bensalem Presbyterian Church, a World War II Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient, a member of V.F.W. Post 9245 of Robbins, a member of Elise Lodge #555 AF & AM, and the retired owner and operator of Brewer's Repair Shop.
Surviving are wife, Clara Gatlin Brewer of the home; sisters, Virginia B. Hussey of Eagle Springs, Bonnie B. Wood of Carthage; brothers, James F. "Jay" Brewer, Arthur C. Brewer, both of Eagle Springs.
The family will be at Kennedy Funeral Home, Robbins, 7-9 p.m. Saturday, other times at the home.
