James A. Grove, 70, of Claridge, died Tuesday, March 28, 2006, in his home. He was born May 23, 1935, in Boswell, Pa., a son of the late Thomas Grove and Olive (Lentz) Grove Dulemba. He was a loving person. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Prior to his retirement, he was a supervisor for Union Switch & Signal. He loved to hunt and fish and the outdoors until he was limited by Parkinson's disease. He was a life member of the North American Hunting Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Wideman; and a brother, Thomas Grove. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Joanne (Patek) Grove; a daughter, Diane Russel and husband Gary; five grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Grove and wife JoAnne; three sisters, Ann Oskin and husband William, Donna Knorr and late husband Richard, and Karen Champion and husband Robert; sister-in-law, Teresa Grove; sister-in-law, Deb Patek and late husband Michael; brother-in-law, Frank Patek and wife Rose; sister-in-law, Fay Berger and late husband, Don; sister-in-law, Pat Schutter and husband Paul; sister-in-law, Bev Hunter and husband Al; numerous nieces and nephews; and devoted companion, Mollie Darling. In accordance with Jim's wishes, there will be no visitation, and graveside services will be private. The JAMES E. LINDSAY FUNERAL HOME INC., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, in charge of arrangements.
