David N. Dowdrick, 21, of Claridge, died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002, in Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. He was born July 30, 1981, in Jeannette, the son of David M. and Cynthia M. Parsons Dowdrick of Claridge. He was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Murrysville and was a 1999 graduate of Penn-Trafford High School. He enjoyed Web page designing, and his great joy in life was attending MDA Summer Camp and his love for animals. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Sarah F. Dowdrick. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandfather, Daniel E. Dowdrick of Claridge; maternal grandparents, Wilber and Sarah Parsons of Claridge; a sister, Sarah DiEugenio and husband, John, of New Alexandria; and a niece, Gabriela DiEugenio. Friends received at the JAMES E. LINDSAY FUNERAL HOME INC., Main Street, Harrison City, Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Daniel B. Lawrence officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Penn Township.
