WOODCOCK, Everett Stanley, 95, of Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday November 29, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Woodcock; and brothers, Stanley Woodcock, John Woodcock, Jr., and Norman Woodcock. Everett is survived by his daughter, Joan Speeks (Gerald); son, Robert Woodcock (Loretta); sisters, Irene McCann, Glennis Jennings (Willie), and Gracie Stroud; brother, Walter Woodcock (Bobbie); grandchildren, Joey, Lisa, Greg, Vicki and Crystal; 9 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank his caregivers, Diane, Ketesh, Sheryl, Tamica and Kiesha. Everett served in the US Army Air Force during WWII. He retired from the Greater Richmond Transit Company after over 30 years of service. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm Thursday (today) at Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Road (Rte. 10). Everett's funeral service will be 11 am Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Dale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Powhatan Christian Fellowship Church, 3308 Pleasants Rd., Powhatan, VA 23139
