Shannon Marie Quick was born November 28, 1972 in Perry, Oklahoma, to Alfred W. Soulek and Joy (Schmiedbauer) Waldroop and passed away Monday, May 20, 2013 in Moore, Oklahoma at the age of 40 years. On August 19, 1995, she married the love of her life, Michael E. Quick.
Shannon enjoyed watching her sons' ball games and attending their activities. She was an avid photographer and generously shared her photos with others. She also loved to cook for her family and spent time making them feel special. Her gentle nature, beautiful smile and sweet spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She will be remembered as a beautiful lady through and through.
Shannon is survived by her husband, Michael E. Quick, of the home; two sons, Tanner M. Quick and Jackson C. Quick, of the home; her father, Alfred W. Soulek of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her mother, Joy L. Waldroop of Moore, Oklahoma; one brother, Jeremy J. Soulek and his wife Lee Ann, of Stillwater, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, John and Hila Schmiedbauer; maternal grandparents, Ray and Marie Ewy; uncle's Bill Schmiedbauer and Jerry Cronin.
Funeral Services for Shannon will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., at the Draper Park Christian Church with Pastor Brett Nation officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.moorefuneralcremation.com.
