MRS. PAXSON, 56 DIES SUDDENLY OF HEART AILMENT
Mrs. Lottie R. Paxson, 56, a former Muscatine resident, died suddenly at 9:45 p.m. Monday at Mercy hospital in Davenport. Death was attributed to a heart attack. She had been visiting in Davenport at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C.B. Roberdee, 107 East Hayes street.
Mrs. Paxson was born on Nov 6, 1884, in Columbus Junction, where she spent most of her life, later moving to Muscatine. She was married on June 28, 1904 to Carl W. Paxson, who preceded her in death on Aug 28, 1919.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Carol M. Roberdee of Davenport; four brothers, Elmer Shellabarger of Muscatine, Noah Shellabarger of Columbus Junction, Scott Shellabarger and Jake Shellabarger, both of Missouri; and three sister, Mrs. Eva Campbell of Columbus Junction; Mrs. Cleo Edmondson of Ottumwa, IA., and Miss Esther Shellabarger of CA. One son died in infancy. Two grandchildren also survive.
