Charles Henry Alcox
---Charles Henry Alcox, retired New York Central Railroad engineer, passed away suddenly Sunday morning at 7:45 a.m. at his home, 626 West Michigan Avenue. He was born May 20, 1866 in Summit county, Ohio, the son of Cornelius [sic] and Mary (Martin) Alcox and was a member of St. Mary's Parish and its Holy Name Society. He was an honorary member of both the Queen City Council Knights of Columbus in Battle Creek, and of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. Mr. Alcox, who retired from the railroad in 1931, is survived by a daughter, Miss Eileen Alcox at home.
---Rosary will be said this evening at 7:30 p.m. from the Court funeral home, while requiem mass will be offered Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic church with the Rev. Father George Higgins in charge. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Mary's cemetery.

---Rosary services were held last evening at 7:30 p. m. at the Court funeral home for Charles Henry Alcox, 626 West Michigan Avenue, who died suddenly Sunday morning at his home. Requiem mass was offered this morning at 9:00 a. m. from St. Mary's church, with the Rev. Fr. George Higgins in charge. Interment followed at St. Mary's cemetery in the family plot.
---Bearers were Tom O'Leary, James O'Brien, William Taffee, William Dart, John Lester and Joseph Leyden.
OBITUARY CORRECTION per Elle Elliott: Cornelius was Charles' brother. His father was Connor.
