The death of Mrs. Lottie Whiting, wife of Cortis Whiting, occurred Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wells Lovewell, on the Ridge road, in the town of Gaines. She was a native of North Oakfield and was 42 years of age.
She is survived by her husband, five children, Mrs. Leola Harmer, of Oswego county, Mrs. Wells Lovewell, Leon, Leonard and Ormelee Whiting, of Gaines; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Cole, who resides in Kansas, and Mrs. Jane Reed, of West Shelby, and a brother, Lyman Beecher, of Barre Center.
