SP4-E4 Ladd Condy was a crew chief on a UH-1B and was killed when a rocket accidently ejected from the rocket pod of his helicopter at Bong Son, Binh Dinh Province, South Vietnam.
Ladd Robert Condy was assigned to 2/20th Artillery 1st Cavalry Division. U. S. Army. Ground casualty, Bong Son, RVN.
Ladd Condy was raised on a farm in east Boulder County and was a 1963 graduate of Boulder's former Fairview High School.
SP4 Condy is remembered on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall at Panel 05E, Line 37, and is also honored on the Mountain View Memorial Park's Veteran's Memorial Garden, Boulder County Viet Nam Casualties memorial-see photograph to the left.
