Former Fairbanks Morse of Canada Leader
Son of Clarence and Nora Allen. He married Dorothy Juliette Shakleton Sept. 2, 1928. He was the retired president of Fairbanks Morse of Canada beginning his career in Beloit 43 years ago. He also worked for the firm in Freeport, Chicago and Kingston, Ontario, Canada where he became president of the company. He retired in 1967 to Palmyra, Wisconsin.
Survivors include his wife Marion (Turner).(second wife ) (first wife Dorothy died Nov. 20, 1958) ; Two sons, John Allen of West Chicago, Ill. and Jerome Allen of Kingston, Ontario, One brother Ivan of Beloit, Three sisters, Mrs, Clark Ackley, Mrs. Junior Woodworth, and Mrs. James Martingilio all of Beloit and eight grandchildren. Private services will be held with no visitation.
Died of lung cancer first operated on for this in July, 1969
