FATAL RAILROAD ACCIDENT - An accident occurred yesterday afternoon about a mile west of Greenwood, in Albemarle county, on the C & O railroad, by which a first class coach and two sleepers of the Louisville express coming east, and due here at 9:20 last night, were thrown from the track and considerable damaged. G. W. Pettway, baggage master, of Richmond, was killed, and about a dozen passengers hurt, none, however seriously. The track was cleared and trains commenced passing the scene of the accident about 10 o'clock this morning.
