Mrs. Roszella Parker, 78, of 414 Evans Street in Greenfield, died Saturday, May 21, 1960, at 4:20 A.M. at Fayette Memorial Hospital in Washington C.H.
She was born April 1, 1882, in Ross County, the daughter of James Raines and Kathryn Penwell Raines. She was married to Samuel A. Benner, who died on March 6, 1928, and to David Parker, who died Aug. 20, 1953.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Waddell of Milledgeville and Mrs. Donald Howland, Washington C.H., two sons, Lawrence Benner of Greenfield and James Benner of Hillsboro; one brother, Clifton Raines, Springfield.
She was a member of the S.S.U. Baptist Church in Greenfield where services were held Monday at 2:30 P.M. with the Rev. Noble Miller officiating and burial following in Greenfield Cemetery under direction of Murray Funeral Home of Greenfield.
