Rev. Breland attended South East Bible College and was a Missionary Baptist minister. He was a member of Clearview Baptist Church in Mendenhall.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine W. Breland of Florence; a daughter, Christina Clyburn of Brandon; a son, David L. Breland of Florence; his mother, Iduma Hall Breland of Wiggins; three brothers, John G. Breland of Union Church, Donald Boyce Breland of Wiggins and James Keith Breland of Mendenhall; and five sisters, Mary Katheryn Fairley and Bertha L. McCollum, both of Wiggins, Bonnie J. Morgan of Hattieburg, Iva J. Rigby of Jackson and Gay Rayburn of Mt. Olive.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at Moore Funeral Home in Wiggins. A service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel with burial in Wiggins City Cemetery
