WALNUT GROVE [Leake Co.]—Liggie C. Alford, 87, a retired line worker, died of Alzheimer's disease at Carthage Health Care.

Services are 11 a.m. today at Standing Pine Cemetery. Wilcox Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Survivors include: son, James A. "Whit" Alford of Carthage; daughter, Betty Jane Webb of Standing Pine; three granddaughters and four great-grandchildren.
