Jeremiah P. Battistone, 18, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2005. He was born June 15, 1987, in Latrobe, a son of Daniel J. Battistone, of Greensburg, and Susan Buraczewski Battistone, of Greensburg. He had attended Greensburg Salem Senior High School. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John B. Battistone; and maternal grandmother, Eleanor Buraczewski. In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sisters, Jennifer Weisner and her husband, Tim, of Newport News, Va., and Bernadette Battistone and Crystal Battistone, both of Greensburg; a half brother, Justin Prescot Battistone, of Belle Vernon; paternal grandmother, Rose Marie Battistone, of Charleroi; maternal grandfather, Steve Buraczewski, of Roscoe; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday only in the BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton at Green streets, Greensburg. A funeral Liturgy will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Daniel C. Mahoney officiating. Interment will be private.
