Cora Lee Corbitt Died Last Night
Mrs. Cora Lee Corbitt, 59, wife of Joseph Corbitt, of 1924 South K street, died at the Mercy hospital at 10:40 o'clock last evening of complications. Mrs. Corbitt had been in failing health for the past six months.
Born July 23, 1887 in Colliers, Va., she was the daughter of David and Rebecca Ailstock. She was married to Joseph Corbitt who survives.
Survivors include the widower, four daughters, Mrs. Mabel Beeman, Mrs. Margaret Brown, Mrs. Dorthy Leisure, Mrs. Sylvia Leisure all of Elwood; two sons, Morrison and Krank Corbitt both of Elwood, two brothers, William Ailstock of Pasadena, Calif., and Robert Ailstock of Elwood; two sisters, Mrs. Delila Pitts, and Mrs. Carrie Henning, both of Peoria, Ill. There are nineteen grandchildren.
