Funeral Services were held Tuesday, December 7 for Pauline Roller, 72, who died on Saturday, December 4, 1993 at Thomas Rest Haven in Coon Rapids. Rev. Joan Ayers officiated the 2 p.m. services from the United Methodist church in Glidden. Mrs. Elinor Goodmanson served as organist. Interment was in Union Township Cemetery. Serving as casket, bearers were her nephews.

PAULINE ROBERTA ROLLER

Pauline Roberta Roller was born July 28, 1921 in Guthrie County south of Coon Rapids, the daughter of Wilson Cleveland and Lucile Kinnick Herron. She attended school at White Rock, Orange Township, and then Coon Rapids High School. Pauline worked at Floyd Kretzinger and Parker Variety Stores.

She was united in marriage to Clayton Roller on September 30, 1939 at Guthrie Center Methodist Parsonage. They farmed south of Glidden for 25 years and then moved north of Glidden for 20 years before retiring to their home in Glidden in 1987.

Pauline was very active and held several offices in the Glidden Methodist Church. She was a lifelong Methodist.
Pauline was a member of the Golden Link Rebekah Lodge #10 of Coon Rapids and was presently serving as Noble Grand. She was a member of the Pitch Club, Carrollton Club, Church Circle and the Open Door Club. Pauline also did volunteer work at New Hope Village.

Pauline died on Saturday, December 4, 1993 at Thomas Rest Haven in Coon Rapids.

Surviving are two daughters, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also three brothers, four sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clayton, a son, Dwight Roller, a sister, Margaret Nelsen, and a brother, Wilson Herron, Jr.
