Officer Earl W. Colegrove, Jr., DSN 119, was the second person in his family to join the ranks of the University City Police Department. His father, Earl Colegrove, DSN 101, was a University City Police Officer, as was his brother, Sergeant Joseph W. Colegrove, DSN 165. All served with distinction for that agency.

Officer Colegrove left in 1971 after providing 12 years of faithful and dedicated service to the department. He became a real estate broker in the private sector.

Officer Colegrove was also a veteran, having served in the United States Marine Corps.

Mr. Colegrove's mother, Kathleen, sister, June Stewart, and brother, Joseph W. Colegrove, survive him.
