Clarence Edward Brown, 63, of 2884 Sargett Brown Road, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2013, at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2013, from 7-9 p.m. at Pink Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2013, at Pink Hill Funeral Home with Durham Lee presiding. Burial will follow at the Brown Family Cemetery in Deep Run. Clarence was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald L. Brown, Sargett Brown Jr., Michael G. Brown, Norwood Brown, Clayton Brown and Leo Brown. He is survived by his wife, Olive Louise Brown of the home; son Chris Wiggs of Conn.; daughters Kimberly and Brent Mannis of Deep Run, Jessica Brown and special friend Travis Paderick, of Deep Run, Olivia Brown and special friend David Serafin, of Deep Run, and Tina Lancaster of Kinston; brothers Elwood Tyndall and wife Maxine, of Kinston; sisters Louise Jones, Alice Daughety and husband Shorty, May Sanderson, Dorothy Sanderson and Margaret McArthur, all of Kinston, Ann Wisener and Marie Gibert of Deep Run, and Faye Batchelor of Pink Hill; three grandchildren, Daniel Mannis, Jayden Serafin, and Cayleigh Paderick.
