He was my 3rd great-grandfather. He was the son of Francois Couture and Barbe Amable Rose Bouchard.
Married Mary Catherine Scott. She died May 1836. He then married Cecile Adam May 17, 1836 in Quebec. Their children of record are: Israel, Jean Baptiste, Joseph, Adolphe, Elise, Malvina, and Celina. After Cecile's death, he married Celeste Mire.
