Betty was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed crocheting, reading and playing with her beloved dogs.
Betty is survived by her husband, Oliver Herring; son, Billy Herring; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Eddy Herring.
