Abram W. Deterling.

Abraham W. Deterling died Saturday, after an illness of less than one week of heart trouble. Last Sunday he was in his usual health and enjoyed a long walk, but after his return, was taken ill. Mr. Deterling came to this vicinity from Canada, five years ago. He was born in Hunderstone (sic), Ontario, Canada, March 29, 1848. Since his residence here his home had been on the late Mrs. Hannah Geare farm, where he died. He had been a member of St. Paul's Evangelical church ever since he came here. Besides his widow, he leaves three daughters, Mrs. Edward Buholtz and Miss Esther Deterling of Pittsford, and Mrs. August Gruhn of Johnsburg, Pa., also seven grandchildren. The funeral was held at 2 o'clock, Tuesday afternoon, at his late residence and 3 o'clock at St. Paul's Lutheran church. Interment in Pittsford village cemetery.
