Blantford Turner Dies at Red Boiling Springs Home
Blantford Burford Turner, 72, died suddenly at his home on the Witcher Hollow Road, Red Boiling Springs, late Wednesday afternoon following a heart attack.
Funeral arrangements were incomplete early today.
Mr. Turner, a farmer, was a native of Monroe County, Ky., but had resided in Macon County for many years. His parents were Elisha and Elizia Turner. Mr. Turner was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louise Henry Turner; four sons, Clarence Turner, Nashville, Nelson Turner, Madison Larry Turner, Bangor, Maine, and E. B. Turner. Red Boiling Springs; seven daughters, Mrs. Walter Middleton, Laurel, Miss., Mrs. Cornell Love, Nashville, Mrs. Juanita Lynch, Nashville, Mrs. Anna Voy Caruthers, Nashville, Mrs. Mack Fox, Haywood California, Mrs. Warren Burcham, of Nashville, and Mrs. Bobby Austin, New Palestine, Indiana; a brother, Hayden Turner, Red Boiling Springs.
