Virginia M. Adomnik, 70, of Manns Choice RD1, died Sunday, Nov. 12, 1995, at her home.
She was born Aug. 5, 1925 in New Paris, a daughter of the late Elmer Shimer and Annie (Custer) Shimer Beegle. On Oct. 23, 1945, she married Walter Adomnik in Elkton, Md.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by six children, Walter Adomnik Jr., (married to the former Ruth Morris) of Manns Choice; Linda (wife of Ken Topka) of Central City; Frank Adomnik (married to the former Joyce Kubala) of Central City;Rick Adomnik (married to the former Sally Sabo) of Bedford; Betty Ann (wife of Tom Yatta) of Central City; and Steven Adomnik (maarried to the former Sandy Jarvis) of Central City; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; a brother John Shimer of Everett; and a sister Evelyn Caro of Everett.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Anna Louise; a brother Nevin, and a sister, Betty.
Mrs. Adomnik was a member of the Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship.
Funeral services: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship, with Rev. Charles F. Rhodes officiating. Burial in Schellsburg Cemetery.
Friends will be received 4 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Everett, and one hour prior to services at the church.
