Daughter of Ella Watson and Frank Greeson. She married Charles Rankin about 1911 and they had five known children.

Her obituary in the Greensboro Record, August 3,1964, provides that she was survived by her husband, Charles T. Rankin; three sons, Fred N. Rankin of Greensboro, C. Howard Rankin of Newport News, Va., and Floyd E. Rankin of Hampton, Va.; two daughters, Mrs. Donald Sims of Greenville, S.C. and Mrs. Elsie R. Stack of Greensboro; three brothers, Dugan, Herman and James Greeson and four grandchildren.
