IN PRECIOUS MEMORY OF LELIA A. LILLIAN D'ALESSANDRI

Lelia's last name was spelled in an obituary as Allesnadie and also as Allensandra in Monroe County Death Records, Vol. 8, 1925-1929.

*Lillian A. D'Alessandri, one year old, died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank D'Alessandri, 1014 East Front Street, Saturday morning. Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph's church, Second Street and Kentucky Avenue, Monday morning, with the Rev. Michael J. O'Reilley in charge. Burial will be made in St. Joseph's Cemetery. (Monroe Evening News, April 17, 1926.)

**I didn't know Aunt Josephine had another child that died young, besides Luisa. I was searching a book on old death records, and the spelling was so off. But the parents were listed as Frank Allensandra and Josephine D'Arpini. Lelia, sweet child, now I know why the other little angel stone had the same flower on it, many years ago, when I was at the cemetery, searching for Luiza and Josephine's brother Herald D'Arpini. Herald was Josephine's young brother who had died when he was about fourteen. Lelia's mother, was one of the sweetest, kindest, most precious of Bob's aunts, that I knew. Bless her, for all the pain, she must have suffered, losing both these young children.

Lelia died from broncho pneumonia, at the age of one year, 24 days, and was laid to rest at St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroe, Mi.

*Lillian Allensandie was the name in Michigan Death Certificates, 1921-1952 for Lelia, with April 17, 1926 listed as death year, and March 23, 1925 listed as birth year.
