Wedding at Hummelstown.

The Hummelstown Sun thus speaks of a fashionable wedding which occurred there a few evenings since: "On Thursday evening, at the residence of Dr. Jacob Shope, his estimable daughter, Miss Aggie, was united in marriage to Mr. C. Nissley Mumma, teller in the Hummelstown National Bank. The large assemblage of opulent bearing; the numerous handsome and costly presents; the repast, and all features connected with the occasion was decidedly pleasing."

C. Nissley Mumma Dies While Attending Church

C. Nissley Mumma, aged 60, a life-long resident of Dauphin county (sic), and located in Steelton more than thirty years, died suddenly last evening at 7.30 o'clock while seated in the First Methodist Church. Death was caused by heart disease.

At the time of his death Mr. Mumma was a clerk in the office of the county recorder of deeds, which position he has held for nine years, entering the office during the term of Oscar G. Wickersham. Mr. Mumma was born near Highspire, and while located here was engaged in the hardware business for many years. Active in both church and fraternal activities, Mr. Mumma was widely known. He was an officer of St. John's Lutheran Church and for many years was active in the affairs of this congregation. He was president of the Men's Bible class for a long time, a member of Steelton Lodge No. 411. Knights of Pythias, and of Steelton Lodge No. 184, Independent Order of Odd Fellows.

He is survived by his wile and three sons, Robert, of Wilkes-Barre, and Walter and Harold, of Allentown.

MUMMA FUNERAL

Funeral services for C. Nissley Mumma, who died Wednesday evening, will be held in St. John's Lutheran church (sic), Second and Pine streets, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. E.J. Bowman will have charge of the services. Private burial will be made in Hummelstown cemetery (sic).

The body can be viewed by the public in St. John's Lutheran Church tomorrow afternoon from 1 until 2 o'clock.
