Mrs. Henry Barnett, 99, whose parents were among the early settlers at Geneva, died Thursday at Goodland where she has lived with her son.
Mrs. Barnett was born in Decatur, Iowa, March 1, 1861, and came to Kansas with her parents when she was a small girl. The family settled on a farm near Geneva and she lived in the community until moving to Goodland in 1948.
She is survived by two sons, Leslie H. of Goodland and Will B. Barnett, Kingsburg, Calif., and a daughter, Mrs. Ralph Kerschner, Caney.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 AM Monday in the Geneva Cemetery.
