She was the daughter of Edgar and Anna (Peterson) Anderson. Jane grew up in Escanaba and graduated from Escanaba High School in 1941.
She married William (Bill) Mulvaney on February 7, 1948 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Escanaba and he preceded her in death on October 26, 2010.
Jane was employed as a secretary, all of her working years, and was employed at the Birds Eye Veneer Company, Bay de Noc Community College and U.P Health Care, all in Escanaba. She was a devoted member of the Bethany Lutheran Church.
Jane was a very social person who was involved with many clubs and organizations including the PEO Sisterhood, a member of the Escanaba Country Club, Bethany Circles, and altar guild, the Escanoers, various bridge clubs, and square dancers. She and Bill enjoyed traveling and wintering in Florida. They loved to dance to the Big Band era music. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Jane was survived by: son, Tim (Debbie) Mulvaney; grandchildren, Michael (Nichole) Krueger, Molly Mulvaney, Alex (Katie) Mulvaney, Arin Mulvaney, Ian Mulvaney and Jacob Mulvaney and great-grandchildren, Zachary, Logan, Miles, Jenna, Austin, Maddox, Gabriel, and Kaleb and five great-great-grandchildren; friend, Don Dekeyer; and friends of over 75 years Fay Nyquist and Betty Goulais.
In addition to parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by: son, Terry Mulvaney; Aunt Anna Carlson; sister, Helen Anderson; and sister-in-law, Marian Mulvaney.
Visitation at the Anderson Funeral Home. Funeral services at Bethany Lutheran Church officiated by Rev. Lily Brondyke. Burial in Lakeview Cemetery.
