CARRICO, PAUL DONOVAN, 86, of Louisville, passed away at his home on Tuesday evening, May 28, 2013. Paul was a member of St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church for 50 years. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Paul was proud of his many accomplishments in construction (metal lathe) and enjoyed gardening, golf and spending time with family and friends. Paul never knew a stranger and was loved by all. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Frances "Frankie" Carrico; four sons, Paul David (Anna Marie), Jerry (Joyce), Steve (Cheryl), and Larry (Margie); three daughters, Sharon Summers (Jerry), Mary Kay Hitchings (Mark), and Wanda Mullen (Greg); 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Catherine. The Funeral Mass to honor Paul's life will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2013 at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church, 5505 Bardstown Road, with interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2013 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road.
