Doris Mae Geibel, 81, of Butler died Thursday at her home.
Born Dec. 12, 1924, in Butler, she was a daughter of William T. and Helen Steighner Furey.
She was a homemaker, and had been a bookkeeper for Butler Motor Transit for 20 years. Prior to that, she worked at Armco-Butler Works.
Mrs. Geibel was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles.
Surviving are a son, Jeffrey D. Geibel of Mifflintown, Juniata County; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Karen J.) Leibach of Alexandria, Va., and Diane E. Millward of Longmont, Colo.; and three grandchildren. A sister, Shirley J. Schottler of Arlington, Va., also survives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Geibel, who died, Aug. 17, 1983, and a brother.
GEIBEL - Friends of Doris Mae Geibel, who died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Butler County Humane Society 1015 Evans City Road Renfrew, PA 16053 or the American Respiratory Alliance Cranberry Professional Park 201 Smith Drive Suite E Cranberry Township, PA 16066.
The St. Paul Guild and Christian Mother's will recite the rosary at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
