Nathan was born August 15, 1961 in Abilene. He graduated from Abilene High School and attended Cisco Jr. College in Cisco. He worked in the oilfield most of his life, attended Broadview Baptist Church, and always tried to help everyone he could.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Maldonado; mother, Barbara Knudson (his father, Ethel Mccaline KEMP, died in 1988); two sisters, Cindy Womack and husband Josh of Abilene, Debbie Kemp of Abilene; one brother, Randy Kemp of Abilene; four nephews, Harley Womack, Seth Reeder, Michael Reeder, Chris Kemp and wife Mariah; one niece, Lexy Womack; two step children, Aldo Alvarez and Cami Maldonado.
