Mrs. Rouse was born Sept. 14, 1914 in Turtle to George and Rosie (Nash) Land. She married Raymond Rouse. She was the mother of one son. Mrs. Rouse died June 7, 2005 at the age of 90 years, eight months and 23 days.
Survivors include one son, Billy Joe Beasley and wife, Regina, Bunker; one step-daughter, Marilyn Elliott and husband, Russell, Merriam, Kan.; three grandchildren, Brad Beasley and wife, Tammy, Dixon; Sally Karnes and husband, Bob, Edgar Springs; Sara Quick and husband, Gurnie, Salem; four step-grandchildren, Steve Elliott, Gardner, Kan.; Debbie Guiz, Warsaw; Dennis Gromer and wife, Debbie, Strafford; Shelbe Hanning and husband, Tim, Salem; seven great-grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; three brothers, Floyd Land, Clint Land and Clatus Land; and two sisters, Amie Land and Avis Land.
Mrs. Rouse was a member of the Free Holiness Church in Salem.
