ODESSA-- Services for Fred Hoyt Hawley, 87, of Odessa are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with Lynn Money officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Mr. Hawley died Friday, Jan. 22, 1999, at his home. He was born Jan. 12, 1912, in Tupelo, Okla., to Elizabeth and Arthur Hawley. He married Lena B. Estep Oct. 8, 1938, in Hobbs, N.M.
He was a retired jet engine mechanic from Texas Eastern Pipeline. He was a member of Eisenhower Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roy and Arthur Hawley; sisters, Lydia Hawley, Alice Foreman, Nell Crosley, Bess Kroutil and Betty Lee Gibson; and granddaughter, Kelle Jo Hawley.
The family suggests memorials to Kelle Jo Hawley Scholarship at the Sixth and Jackson Church of Christ.
