How can you not love a child so unique?

Emilee was special, given the ability to appreciate even the smallest creatures of the earth; to interpret stories and emotions through music, and to share a sweet appreciation of existence with all whose lives she touched. Her artwork was filled with vibrant color and was an expression of joy and zest for the world around her. She was a voracious reader, and in school where books were counted, she never read fewer than 200 books a year.

Her school life ended in sixth grade when she was viciously stricken with AML, a type of leukemia not often seen in children. Her medical caregivers gave her chemo; she gave them fake insects! For three months, she fiercely fought for her life; it proved to be too much for her heart and Emilee was released from her struggle and carried safely Home.

Her grandmother writes:

" So it was that in the year 2000; in the month of November, that my first granddaughter was born....she was so artistic with a mind's eye for all things animal...her voice a cherub as she sang....her music ability with violin and guitar....her real love of books over 200 every year fed her soul....we loved her....GOD LOVED HER MORE....EMILEE CHEYENNE BISHOP, WE SO LOVED YOU! :((((((

So now the farewells must start....but with her life there is not an end...as she lives with master who now has gained a new hand....she paints the rainbows, she will brighten the sun...and all that come her way will be blest beyond measure."

Emilee was buried in her "You can't see me I'm a Ninja" tee shirt. Little stuffed animals and a favorite doll rested at her side. Friends and family left love notes and cards in her casket. "Cruella De Vil" was played during her visitation. What a personalilty, and how she will be missed!
