1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, out of Camp Pendleton, CA, attached to 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward)

He was killed by enemy small-arms fire while conducting combat operations in Ramadi, Iraq.

He was survived by his father; his mother; his wife; and two daughters.

Interment on April 26, 2005.
