Adelaide W. French, 94 of Corvallis, passed away in Hamilton at the Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Warren and Mary Ann Fisher Williams. She received her education in Pennsylvania. As a young woman, she worked in a printers shop. On April 9, 1919, she married Thomas A French Sr. in Collingswood, N.J. The couple moved to California, later moving to Colorado. The moved to Hamilton in the late 1950's and later returned to California. Her husband died in 1974, after which she moved to Corvallis, Montana. Surviving are two sons, Thomas A. French Jr. of Hamilton, and John W. French of Lompoc, California. A sister, Mary Ann Holquin of Lancaster, Calif: 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Rosemary French Turner, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
