Julius E. Berning, Pueblo resident since 1941, late of 2701 Grand passed away Aug. 7. 1984.

Mr. Berning served in the US Marines during WWI and in the Sea Bees during WWII. He was a member of the Lutheran church in Norborne, Mo., and Pueblo Masonic Lodge 17, AF&AM, he is survived by his wife, Addie Ann Berning, of the family home: three daughters, Mary Ann (jack) Fishburn and Ruby Grace (Henry) Spate both of Pueblo, and Helen Virgina (Art) Wright of Winter Park; a son, Quentin La Verne Berning of Denver; nine grandchildren, Karen Ann Fishburn-Arnold, Gary Lee Fishburn, Debbie Wright-Stone, Eddie Spate, Darla Kay Spate, Patty Ann Spate-Martin, Kathy berning, Louise Berning-Marrow and Julius E. Berning; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Adrian Comer Garden Chapel, with the Rev. David E. Horton of the First Baptist Church officiating. Interment Roselawn Cemetery. The family may be contacted at 2710 Grand.
