He was a Vietnam War veteran. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and was active in the Webster-Dudley Veterans Council.
He leaves 3 sons, Brian J. Sterczala of Worcester, Raymond J. Sterczala, Jr. of Webster and Daniel J. Sterczala of Dudley; 2 daughters, Paula J. Sterczala of Kentucky and Lisa J. Fleurie and her husband Daniel of Webster; 3 grandchildren, Erica, Shawn and Stephanie Fleurie; a brother, Bernard Sterczala of Worcester; nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his brother Ronald Sterczala in 1988.
He was a son of Frank J. and Mary D. (Antkowiak) Sterczala and lived here all his life.
