Rosalie was born in New York City on Monday, January 23, 1928 to the late Clifford and Emilie (nee Wells) Tighe. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a registered nurse at Englewood Hospital in Englewood, NJ. She was the widow of Clayton Kaiser, who died in 1998 after 49 years of marriage.
She was a 1945 graduate of Leonia High School in Leonia, NJ, and a 1949 graduate of Saint Luke's Hospital School of Nursing. After her retirement she moved to Farmington, NH, where she lived for many years.
Surviving members of the family include two sons, Lance Kaiser and Leigh Kaiser, both of Bellingham, MA, two daughters, Lise Nienhouse of Farmington, and Lorelei Kaiser of West Springfield; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was offered on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 from 11:30-1 PM at the H.J. Grondin & Son Funeral Home, 177 North Main Street, Rochester, NH, followed by a graveside service officiated by the Reverend John Scruton at the Kimball Cemetery in Rochester, NH.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, One Bedford Farms Road, Bedford, NH.
