Gloria (Silluzio) Mazzatto, 88, of Kensington, widow of Salvatore Mazzatto, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain. A New Britain native, she lived in Kensington since 1967. Gloria was employed at Fafnir Bearing Co. in New Britain and then Newington for 30 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of St. Paul's Church, Kensington, the Ladies Guild of St. Paul's Church, and the St. Sofia Society at St. Ann Church in New Britain.

Surviving is her daughter, Janet Walczak and her husband, Joseph, of Berlin; a sister, Mildred Gelmini, also of Kensington; a brother-in-law, James Mazzatto and his wife, Frances, of Newington; two grandchildren, Andrea Riley and her husband, Kristopher, of Newington; and Michael Walczak and his wife, Michelle Parad, of Glastonbury; two great-granddaughters, Brianna and Emma Riley; several nieces and nephews, including Paula Orsini and Laura Persaud.

Calling hours are Saturday morning 10 to 11 a.m. at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 a.m. at St. Paul Church, Alling Street, Kensington.
