William H. Faber, 70, of Orange City, died Tuesday in a hospital at Orange City after a brief illness.
Services were Friday in the Calvary Christian Reformed Church. The Rev. John T. Ebbers officiated. Burial was in the West Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Faber was born March 25, 1912, in the Netherlands. He came to the United States at the age of 3.
He married Esther Berkenpas Feb. 19, 1936, at Orange City.
He lived most of his life in Orange City and retired six years ago as custodian at the City Hall.
Mr. Faber was a member of the Calvary Christian Reformed Church.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Harry W. and Marvin H., both of Boyden and Kenneth of Sioux Center; one brother, Arie of Orange City; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
