Gloucester - Gwendolyn M. Hunt, 80, died peacefully at her home, Rivers Edge, on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010. She was born in Napoleonville, La., in 1930 to Stephen Clarendon and Adela Pratt Munson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Dudley Hunt Jr.; and her son, Stephen Clarendon Munson Hunt.
She is survived by her daughters, Ruth Richey and Gwen Dinkin; sons-in-law, Tim Richey and Mike Dinkins; her son, John Morgan Hunt; and grandchildren, T. J. Richey, Stephen Nick Richey, Rachel Dinkind, Natalie Dinkins, Dylan Hunt and Hilary Hunt.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 5, at Ware Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Daniel O. Worthington Jr. officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society.
