Kenneth "Kenny Don" Burgess, age 42, of Florence, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2012, at his home. He was born May 23, 1970, in Sedalia, the son of Kenneth and Doris Boatwright Burgess.
Kenny Don enjoyed spending his time outdoors, especially fishing.
He is survived by his father, Kenneth Burgess of Granbury, Texas; his grandmother, Rosalie Burgess of Sedalia; his aunts, Donna Brown of Versailles and Jeanette Wooters of Sedalia; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Ann Burgess and his grandparents, Edmond and Pearl Boatwright.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Highland Sacred Gardens Cemetery in Sedalia. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
