James D. Wooster of Cates died at 8:50 a.m. EDT Thursday at his residence. He was 68.
Mr. Wooster retired from Pace Dairy in Crawfordsville in 2006. He later worked part-time at the Cayuga Red and White.
He was born Oct. 19, 1943, at Rolla, Mo., to the late William and Oma (Campbell)Stotler Wooster.
He married Loretta N. Tibbett on April 17, 1981, at Danville, Ill. She survives.
Other survivors include: his children, Susan (Doug) Pearson and Mary Calicotte, both of St. James, Mo., Carrie (Don) Reed of Jacksonville, Fla., Shawna (Scot) Straight of Leeton, Mo., James (Nikol) Wooster Jr. of Holden, Mo., Lyrea Moody of Kingman, Sandra Moody of Danville, Ill., Ruth (Allen) McElfresh of Rolla, Mo., William (Dana) Sanders Jr. of Cates, Kenneth Sanders of Shreve, Ohio, and Donny (Penny) Sanders of Cates;
Sisters, Betty (Harold) Warren of Thornton, Colo., Ethel Cooley of Rolla, Mo.; Dorothy (Bill) Richison of Houma, La., and Billie Kirkendall of Montpelier, Ohio;
31 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchldren.
Parents, Daughter Janie SuLynn Wooster, a granddaughter, a sister Sarah Jane Stotler Benedicto Snelson and three brothers Lawrence Paul, William Roy and Joseph Arthur Stotler are deceased.
There will be no services. Cremation will be accorded with a private family service to be held at the Lake of the Ozarks (Missouri) at a later date.
DeVerter Funeral Home, Cayuga, is assisting the family with arrangements.
