Ida Marie Wykle Bostic of 200 Vine Avenue, Wesgate, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Monday, May 28, 2013 at LewisGale Hospital - Alleghany in Low Moor.

She was born on July 30, 1929 in Organ Cave, WV, the daughter of the late Virgil and Essie Wykle.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and crafting, along with spending time with her family. A member of Temple Baptist Church, Marie was involved in the Young at Heart Program.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stewart Bostic, as well as her brothers, Guy Wykle and Layton Wykle.

Left to cherish her memory are a son, Andrew Bostic and companion Randi Lynn Maynard of Clifton Forge; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Carl Clarkson of Fincastle; Three granddaughters, Winter Crance and husband Todd of Iron Gate, Kara Vellines and husband Mike of Pembroke, and Megan James and companion James Altice of Roanoke; three great grandchildren, Mason Crance, Maddox Crance, and Carter Altice; Marie also leaves behind two sisters-in-law, Alice Wykle of Organ Cave, WV and Marjorie Wykle of Christiansburg and a special friend Rosemary Newcomb of Clifton Forge.

A funeral service and celebration of Marie's life will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Bill Hartsfield officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of Alleghany Memorial Park, Low Moor.
