Phillip J. Kopp, age 66, of Perrysburg passed away at his home on Friday, April 10, 2009. He was born on January 15, 1943 in Rossford to Joseph and Bernetta (Reau) Kopp. Phillip was a graduate of Rossford High School. After high school he served his country in the US Army from 1964 to 1966. After being honorably discharged he went to work for Libbey Owens Ford Glass Company for 30 years working in the shipping department.
Phillip was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 31 years, Joanne; son, Brian Kopp; and brothers, Robert and Carl Kopp.
Surviving are his son, Chris Kopp; daughter, Valerie Kopp; grandchildren, Alison and Justin Kopp; brother, Joseph Kopp; and sisters, Catherine Asbury, Betty Jean Wills and Barbara Bischoff. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit at the Sujkowski Funeral Home of Rossford, 830 Lime City Rd. on Monday from 2:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Craig Officiating. Interment will follow at Ft. Meigs Cemetery in Perrysburg.
